Hey guys, I'm jumping in with a 70-1/2 Camaro. The kit is the Baldwin Motion but I parted that out a long time ago. In fact, this is going to be composed almost exclusively from parts from my parted out kits. It will be a resto-custom.

Cool kit! I've got one of these and am looking forward to building it. What color are you going with on this? Is it straight up black or a metal flake black?

Thanks Joe, and it is a very cool kit. I felt bad about parting it out. It will be satin black with some lime green accents. One of the parted out kits I'm using on this is the Foose C-7, which will have a life as a drag car so it won't be needing its interior and engine. Here's the engine with the tranny I bought a while back from M.A.D. I had to remove the transaxle assembly.

I have to apologize in advance as my posting may be spotty for a week or so. The monitor on my laptop went dark and I have to hook it up to the television to use it. I have a new one coming, as this one is about 5 years old. I almost have the engine finished, all but the air filter. I've also gotten started on some of the body work. Going to have to further reduce the size of my pics!

Just a quick update. I got some sanding done and hit it with some primer (it looks darker on here than it really is) to see what's left to do. Still a bit to go. If you will note, I moved the license plate down to below where the rear bumper would be and drilled a hole for the piece I'm using for a gas cap. The bumpers are molded into the body. For the front I added some large air inlets and eliminated the bumpers here. Those of you with a keen eye can see that the portion just above the front air dam is actually the rear roll pan to a BMW Z8 turned upside-down!

Thanks guys. I'm working on the interior now, which is from the same Foose 'Vette the engine came out of. It actually fits pretty well except I had to cover the rear cargo area and now I have to fill in where the Vette is narrower. My computer didn't come today, and now they say it won't come in until Friday, so I can't post pics.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments. I'm posting a mockup of the interior. Most of it is done but where the arrows are I hafta add styrene to fill some gaps. On the Vette those wouldn't show because the body curves in and covers those areas. The dash isn't glued in as I have to add pedals because the old pedals were hanging under it and had no clutch pedal. On the chassis pics, I'm actually further along than these show but wanted to post the processes leading up to the results. I really wanted tubular A-frames and a modern suspension so I managed to fit the entire front suspension from the Revell CR5 Compuware Corvette kit. I was surprised at how good it fit with only some minor mods. More work had to be done so it doesn't look out of place as well. The rear suspension was a bit more challenging, it is an independent suspension from a Viper attached to the axle support framework from the C5R kit. Don't have pics of that but I'm posting the trimmed chassis work needed to make it fit. You can also see a little bit of where I used the original Camaro front subframe to make subframe connectors with a driveshaft support. All on a 69 Camaro chassis because I had used the rear section of the original chassis on another build. Thanks for viewing.

Somehow I just can't visualize it!?! 2- Is Tom going to have enough popcorn for this whole thing? But honestly, I am looking forward to seeing where it goes!! icon_hmm_zps07rcoppf
