I've been thinking really hard about how to add something for the members of our forum and came up with the idea of a group build we could share in together. A few of you that are here may remember my Red Hot & Rollin' Group Build that I ran in 2015 over at FSM. It was a HUGE success and stretched out for two years which was a total shock for me. I figured, "meh" if it lasts 6 months I'll be happy. Little did I know that it would go on until 2017. So....I figured I'd bring the group build here for nostalgia's sake and give 'er a go. Folks.....on December 1st we'll kick this off and it'll run for 6 months. If you want to join up just make a post into this thread and I'll get you on the build roster with the scale, kit maker and title of your model. The guidelines are:1. It will run from 01 December till 01 June 2025 2. You can enter models in any stage of completion, as long as they aren't past the 50% completed stage. 3. Crossovers are welcome to join. 4. Any scale, any automotive performance driven subjects but no military vehicles here please. Only civilian street and competition style vehicles please. 5. Aftermarket items are allowed. The sky is the limit! 6 Please share progress and pictures as you build. 7. No bleeding allowed! 8. You can enter at any time within the group build time frame 9. And finally as my most important rule/ guideline: Be social, encouraging and have fun! Below is the Group Build Badge that can be put into your profile and will be seen in your posts. If you don't know how to put this in your profile, I'll show you how to after you join. Participant Roster:1. 406 Silverado: 1/24 Testors Pantera GT5 2. tcoat: 1/24 Tamiya Toyota 86 3. stitchdup: 1/24 1937 Lincoln 4. sharp: 1/25 AMT Lil Red Truck 5. RetroSpectKustoms: 1/24 Aoshima URAS Skyline 6. kwt: 1/24 Monogram '70 Chevy Malibu

I'll kick things off with my entry. This has been a car that I have been wanting to build all of my life and I finally was able to draw a bead on one a few weeks ago. I'm not much into lock in threads as I tend NOT to build the subject that I post a lock in thread for BUT......in this case I'll make an exception because this is, for me, a "holy grail" build. My Ta-152 build is still in progress but I needed a straightforward build with no open panels, no added details....noneathat stuff. Since there is nothing available in the AM world for this kit, it makes it the perfect build.

Just a good-looking car all the way around and I don't want to break the lines up.

This. Converted to a North American FRS (at least the badges). On a rather unexpected display base.

OK, so this has my attention, BUT, we all know that I struggle to get builds across the line within cooee of the deadline - eg. K104, Focke Wolfe builds. That said, it's a longer build time so I'm really tempted but I think i should go a car to have any chance of getting it done. So ANY sort of car??

Count me in Joe! Here's one that I been wanting to build for quite some time how. Used to see those things on the road everyplace around here. They only made something 2,000 of them but I am pretty sure that 1,500 of them were local to me! That or the one guy really got around. Great now I need to add one of these to my "Someday" list.
