This is one that is not seen just everywhere anymore, and you've done a great job with it. I really like what you did with the engine with the Rose Chrome and wash.

Man I love it when somebody knocks out one of these wacky kits. Yours is great. Really dig what you've done with the engine. Looking forward to your take on more of these my dude.
Oh how I wish I could go back and grab some of these I missed out on.. Recently picked up a beer wagon and a boot hill express both for a fair price.

No alterations needed, low parts count but parts are actually really nice, no engine bay detailing or complex suspensions to fight with, and can be built in a weekend without any issue. Make a great break from more intense builds. The Boot Hill Express is not a Daniel design but would be an exception for me (along with the Munsters cars and the Monkeemobile) since they are all very close to his stuff.

Very cool build mate, and very well done. I love that engine what ever it is .. VERY WILD ! Well the instructions claim that it is a Pontiac straight six that was "common" in track cars of the era. But in reality it is just sort of an imaginary generic North American type six.

Atlantis is repopping a LOT of stuff as of late and it'll be cool to see what they come up with next. I'm hoping someone will come out with a Maverick kit. Not that nasty looking excuse for a truck Maverick either. The one and ONLY Maverick.

Not that nasty looking excuse for a truck Maverick either. The one and ONLY Maverick. My dad worked in the Talbotville Ontario Ford plant from when it opened until 1976. When they switched to Mavericks in 1970 they had a big open house that we attended. At the event there was a model of the finish line of the plant with promo models of the Maverick rolling out where the kids could just grab one. I ended up with 3 (two gold an an orange) since I stole my sisters. They are Jo Hans of course but at least they were made of styrene not the old shrinking resin stuff of earlier promos. They were also pretty well detailed for promos. Someplace around here, packed away in a box that hasn't been opened since we moved 23 years ago I still have two of them (the a gold was lost in the Great BB Gun Wars of '72). If I get real bored some day I will try to find them and send one your way. Won't be tomorrow though. Just like these
