i haven't been doing much model building this week as i've been printing this and a few parts for others. as long term members might remember, i've tried to build a 37 lincoln a couple of times before but failed miserably, lol. well now i have the printer i was able to resize an rc body from1/11 to 1/24 and it turned out pretty good. i'm having to reprint the trunk and hood as they didn't turn out good. theres some parts i could have reprinted but if it was a plastic kit i'd fix them so thats what i'll do here and show some tricks i've learned working with these prints. firstly this is much smoother than the mess of a vw i'm building so i might not even need much filler primer. I am going to use all printed parts on this and will be printing them myself to show that even a novice (i consider myself a novice as it takes me a long time to figure out problems) at printing can get good results t home. i'm going to use a merlin ls7 engine and full independant suspension. the look will be otherwise stock but slammed to the floor. the trunk lid is too flat so if i cant be bothered fixing that i'll rob the spare wheel from a monogran 36

What an amazing start! That body and dash look fantastic. I'm picturing a very Westergard look.

well it turns out i already have a coyote printed that will fill up the engine bay much better than the chevy and my reprinted hood and trunk came out great too so i hope to get to this soon. its tempting to start it now but i have the 2 vw to finish (but i did a very quick build today) there is a nice v12 flathead file i intend to get for the ragtop version and probably at least one more hardtop. incidentally the roof will fit the monogram lincoln if you want to build a zephyr instead of continental
