What did you do the chrome with? it looks great. I've been struggling to get decent chrome. so far molotowe seems to last the longest but the green stuff chrome looks better however after only being opened for less than 3 months my bottle turned to flat grey with some tiny flecks of chrome. i might have found a place to get parts silvered (the stuff on mirror backs that makes it reflect) I like those wheels too, they fit your style well

I pour a little of the chrome from a Molotow pen into my airbrush and shoot it at about 18 psi. It's the best I've found so far. Spotlight Hobby's is going to start a plating process for model parts. Keep a watch out for that. Yup, Jay's has some pretty kewl wheels & tires.

Only one allen screw and it comes apart. I set the parts in a lid from a jar full of lacquer thinner and clean with a Q-Tip. Then I fill the cup up on my airbrush and open the needle all the way and spray the lacquer thinner through it and it's done.

A quite unique take on the wheels and tires but I like the way they look on this car Bob. You're off to a good start here.

Yup, Tamiya TS-64 Dark Mica Blue. It's already pretty reflective so the 2K clear won't do much but it does help hind minor imperfections.

I've always wondered what that color looked like. It's a dang fine job there Bob Thanks dude. At first I didn't think much of the color but it's growning on me. I think once the 2K clear and chrome is on it will really take on a whole new appearance.

Oh that chrome is beautiful! So much nicer than kit chrome in scale. Another way of dealing with the rest of the chrome could be to give the regular BMF a light brushed on coat of the Citadel Nulin Oil wash. It would knock the gloss down to about the same as those bumpers wile giving it the slight black tone. You can get it online or most stores that sell gaming figures. This is it on the gloss BMF for the side trim of my Galaxie. In picture at least it is very close to your bumpers.
