Thanks. I wasn't really going for this look but it matches the Ultra Black Chrome to a "T" so I'm still good to go. Sometimes the best "looks" are a pure accident. I've done that several times. lol That's how all my builds turn out
Bob that looks awesome.. Definitely gonna rock all together

It does. It really brought the paint alive. Now that is some smoooooooooooooooooth stuff right there Bob. You may have just sold me on a new clear. Is that lacquer based? Thanks Joe. Here's the info from Splash Paints. THIS PAINT REQUIRES CATALYST. CATALYST CONTAINS ISOCYNATOMETHYL Items included: Clear Coat 1oz. (30mL) Catalyst .3oz. (10mL) Mix 3:1 thoroughly prior to application. YOU CAN NOW CUT AND BUFF THIS 2K CLEARCOAT. Recommended technical data -1st coat: Medium wet coat - Flash off 5 minutes -2nd coat: Wet coat - Flash off 5 minutes -3rd and final: Wet coat - Cure at room temperature for 24-48 hours before handling/sanding or 60 minutes in dehydrator @140f Fllash offs are important between coats to prevent runs. High solid clear coat with enhanced self leveling and increased UV stabilizer rated outdoors 10+ years with no clear coat shrinkage during curing for ultimate orange peel free finish and also great cut and buff characteristics without losing shine. DO NOT SHAKE ACTIVATOR BOTTLE. IF YOU DO SHAKE, CLEAN THE BOTTLE LIP TO PREVENT THE CAP GETTING STUCK. HARMFUL VAPORS. WEAR ORGANIC VAPOR RESPIRATOR WHEN IN USE. USE IN WELL VENTILATED AREA ONLY. KEEP OUT OF CHILDREN'S REACH FLAMMABLE , KEEP AWAY FROM ALL HEAT SOURCES.

has the temp been consistent? i've seen slow drying paint act like enamels if the temp varies too much

has the temp been consistent? i've seen slow drying paint act like enamels if the temp varies too much The temp has stayed about the same. I'm not going to mess around with it and go ahead and get out the wax remover then shoot another coat of clear on when the weather get right.
