Built from the belkits Roger Clark kit. this was built mostly on a ferry i was working on as nightwatchman apart from the body paint which i did at home. all the other paint is brushed. I like how they did the decals for these kits as they have the option to paint the stripes instead of decals but i used the decals as ordering a paint mask from spot model takes a month. I didn't weather the body but the underside uses various citadel, warhammer and ammo washes. the base is just some drawer bottom with body filler smooshed on and painted with some old humbrol enamels. the grass is some railway matting and the rocks are from various roads and car parks as i wanted them different colours. the plantlife is moss for flower arrangements

And this was built on a ferry??!! What an awesome job you did on this one Les. I frickin' love reading about builds that are done in remote places like hotel rooms, on the road and now......ferry's!! Good stuff bro!

Great job Les, the Escort certainly builds into an accurate looking car !
Is that a photo etch grill added ? Or does it come with the kit ?

Fantastic little build. Man, the old rally Escorts were weapons. I like the weathering on the chassis, well done.
