Another one added to my Monogram designed kits Revell/Monogram '66 Shelby kit. Painted up Tamiya TS50 Mica Blue and Tamiya TS13 Clear. All the chrome was covered with Tamiya Matt Clear and the panel liner used over it to give it more of a polished aluminum.
Originally wanted to add silver stripes to it, but liked the blue enough to leave it as is.
As always thanks for looking... on to the next.

I've had this kit in my stash twice now and regretted getting rid of it both times. Your take on this is just great with that color choice to start with. That Tamiya Matt Clear added a unique look to the chrome too. autiful build in every sense of the word Jeremy.

Thank ya sir... You need to get a third one. I would love to see what Joe could do with one of these.

Looks great. I like the brushed look. Much appreciated! I like that it breaks up the normal look. Figured since I was going to such an unusual color for it, I should see what else I could do.

I will say this... Take care on spraying the chrome. Definitely have to do it when the humidity levels are LOW.. if not, it'll white and crusty (don't ask me how I know). It could possibly work for a beater at that point.

I do like this look. You usually see these as GT-350s or H's and to see a dealer stock R code car in sheep's clothing is very cool indeed. Love the work!

Thank ya sir! You see so many built that way, it's one reason when I dug the blue so much without the stripes I decided to run with it.
