Thanks Deano! I'm doing the stock tu-tone of a white roof over a green body. It's not often I go for a solid color instead of a metallic version, but I am on this one.

Thanks 406 Silverado! I went to assemble the engine and the automatic transmission seems to be missing the pan for it and it is not in the kit. The instructions don't show one being used. I guess I'll have to look for one or make one. The wheels and tires have bee assembled and I have started painting the interior and the body.    |

That's weird about the transmission pan not being in the kit but I'm assuming that you bought this kit used Mike?

Thanks 406 Silverado. The kit was given to me minus the decals which is usually not an issue for me. I might try to add the Rallye striping or something like it.

Thanks Deano and 406 Silverado! The plug wires needed a much larger distributor cap and the passenger side plug location needed to be guessed since there is room for only three plugs and not four. I drilled a hole for the extra plug on the corner of the block.

This color is an exact match for the Tamiya Morris Mini Cooper Racing car that the plastic is made from, but the body is full of swirls. I plan on using this color on the Mini Cooper, unless I change my mind (which is possible).
