Righto fellas! Now that I have your attention, I need some serious advice.
I'm nearing 43, my eyes ain't as sharp as they used to be! I'm looking into getting an LED/Magnifying glass type thing. Any of you using one and/or any recommendations. I don't mind paying a bit more for a higher quality one. Thanks in advance! |

do you have a smart phone? the camera on some of them can be used to stream video to your computer so you could do that. I've tried to use a desk stand magnfier but i get sore eyes pretty quickly from them

I have two different ones that work very well for me and I just turned 65 back in April. The bench mounted light I purchased from ebay for under a $100 delivered. The head mounted one I got from a friend but you could get one from ebay fairly cheap too. Now how about those FREE KITS your talking about!!! LOLOL   |

I'm in the same boat mate, about to turn 57, and starting to struggle with +300's from the thrift store  so i might look into what Mike has just shown us too. |

I've got a desk mounted one as well. Bought it from a craft show I was 'asked' to attend. I was looking at it while the ladies rattled on about something, the woman's husband actually vouched for it, he used it for tying fly fishing flies.

Thanks for the replies guys. Mike, do you know how many x that bench lamp is? I'm looking at a 5x unit. just wondering if that''ll be up to it.
