I am more so a collector than a builder and I am purchasing some Tamiya, Hasegawa, Fujimi & Aoshima kits from the Japanese market. I am located the the Midwestern US. Being a collector make kit/box damages a no-no….. I have ordered few (two to be exact) and were damaged because of poor packaging. One came in a bubble-wrap envelope and the other came in a plain Manila envelope with thin pieces of styrofoam surrounding the box (like crush the styrofoam; crush the kit… My question is can anybody suggest a preferable seller that wraps or one I can ask for additional packaging. The second seller I asked about additional packaging was the kit wrapped in styrofoam….ending in a crushing disaster. Any suggestion of preferred sellers of these kits from Japan would be appreciated.

I use 1999 and hlj and they always arrived in good condition and the prices are pretty good. I order from them regularly as the kits are released there much sooner (sometimes even before the release date like the nunu audi ur quattro i got 4 months before release
