Restoration of a Porsche 934

Hmm...intriguing.

Ok, so you're going to make it look old, abused and unloved...you have my full attention!

Hi all more work on the 934, first pic is my rendition of the tarpaulin over the engine (its just a bit of printer paper) second pic will be a couple of slabs of concrete when finished.

Started the rusting on this (still a long, long way to go) it a fine line between beliavable and too far quite pleased with the start I know some of the rust looked very granular and there is not enough colour variation but it's definitely a good starting point.












I've decided not to have a tree growing out of it instead it will be a bramble (undecided whether winter spring or summer with nice juicy berries on it) im finding it very difficult to decide on the final setting, I was thinking of having the bonnet chucked on the roof with gouges and scratches or as it is now but I could sling the doors I could sling anywhere in the car or maybe even have one laying on the ground no where near the car almost over grown.

Looking fantastic so far! But please don't tell me it's the same model as up the top?

OK so now the RE20 is done this is back out as you can see the tree is back and  I've started on the tree and dirtied up the car a bit more.

This is looking awesome mate, just remember which parts on the Porsche are actually plastic/fibreglass etc,
as they wont rust, i laughed when i saw somebody do a rusty corvette.

More work on the 934, started painting the tree and building a porta shed.

Hi all well I've done away with the tree and I'm calling the destruction of this 934 done, so now onto the restoration.

Hi all more work on this, it's nice to see the engine in the car instead of on the stand.

Sprayed some of the restored body panels.

OK Sprayed the base colour on this quite pleased with the result so far.

Got it masked up and made a start on the paint job.
