Found this Porsche 907-8 Kit by Union on flea bay for a good price. Their nicely detailed kits and build out well.. This will get parked with the other Le Mans builds for the future. I have another Porsche by Union coming as well. A 917-K, should be here in a week or so.  |

Looks like a nice kit Pete. Parts count doesn't look overwhelming yet more than enough to make it turn out good.

Heres another I have been waiting for...For years...Finally got my hands on one. Didn't really have the space to build/display something like this till now, so I pulled the pin and picked it up today!!!  I couldn't photog the parts trees...Not enough room on the work bench right now...LOL...So this will have to do.   Comes with a sprue or two of P.E parts and a bag full of little bags with detail stuff like springs and such in it.  A few components come pre-painted like the engine parts/ engine cover and front lower chassis pan. No biggie though. The rims are molded in the proper shade of gold plastic.. Nicely too... No swirls or blemishes. Just dull coat em and go!! Body panels are great. No warpage on any of it (Surprising really) It all seems to fit well. Does have the typical sink marks and ejector pin marks here and there though. Easy enough to fix in this scale though.  Comes with decals to do two versions...Ill be doing this one in Gulf Oil livery when I get to it. Gotta see about getting the proper decals to do it though.  I'm stoked, This is probably my all time favorite car...Ever...  |

My understanding Les is that this, is the trumpeter Kit. Just under the "Magnifier" label. You know how they all like to cross pollinate...Look at the Union kits I recently acquired...They are all Heller kits in different packaging...

LOL...Working on your Ford F 25o Les?? If Meng does one, no doubt it will be quite good. It will be quite expensive too. This one was $148.00 U.S. Lets see if the Meng kit beats it. I wont even get into the cost for paint materials for this one! Lots of surface area to cover.
