I have been detailing the Continental kit on this '57 T-Bird. Using a silver Sharpie, I highlighted the Thunderbird emblem on the spare tire cover. One of the things I found interesting was the ends of the stone tray were painted silver on the real Vega$ T-Bird. They are usually body color. I haven't been able to find any other pictures that show the Continental kit stone shield from above. I decided to paint the ends of the tray silver and will leave it at that. Painted and clearcoated! I drilled a hole in the middle of the rear panel for the antenna. The interior is in place.    More Vega$ to come... |
