Scale Production flocking...BY FAR THE WORST PRODUCT I HAVE USED IN 27 YEARS OF MODEL BUILDING!!!! Absolute garbage...it's that compressed in the canister that it just clumps. The photo is AFTER the glue had dried and loos stuff was tapped off.
I threw all 3 in the bin after that (wasn't even going to bother with the black and gray). Very disappointing.

I find most model flocking does that mate, i put it it a tea strainer to get it to break apart and distribute evenly

I also put it through a tea leaf strainer mate, Kens Fuzzy Fur is the best one in Aus .

I also use a strainer too Bruce. But the best way I found that works is to brush on some craft paint a little heavy that's close to the color of the flocking. then sprinkle on the flocking while the paint is still wet, then push the flocking down with your fingers let it dry for about ten minutes, then turn it over and dump the extra out on a piece of paper. You can also save the extra flocking you dumped out.

What those guys said. Though I don't use a tea strainer I use a small strainer and use my finger. I also moved away from glue and use acrylic paint as an adhesive. Pull it back out of the "bin" and give it another try.

Pull it back out of the "bin" and give it another try. I've been adding a couple of drop of acrylic paint the colour of the flock to the white glue. it seems to be working out for me

Appreciate the advice guys, but this stuff was NASTY! I'm talking tip the canister upside down and it doesn't come out! Same technique I used with both of these, which is white glue, watered down: Dale, do you have a link for where you get Kens Fuzzy Fur in Aus?

No mate sorry, i got mine from a friend, but i know he brought it from somebody in Aus. If the fuzz is gluggy, like some other stuff i ended up with, i have sent it through the strainer 3-4 times before using it. Thinned white glue or enamel paint works best, but sometimes it is still hit/miss.

An old salt/pepper shaker works too for distributing flocking...That's what I use...
