The color is called Highland Green Metallic and the paint is made by Scalefinishes. Thanks Mike.

Another nice foil job Mike. You've inspired me to have a go. Maybe not on the Dart though. I've got my hands full with the rest of it.

I fired up the paintbooth for some clearcoating this morning. I got two mist coats, one medium coat and one wet coat of clear on. These will be going into the dehydrator shortly. More to come...

Looks great. Is the paint metallic, or does it just look that way in the pics?

That Highland Green Metallic by Scalefinishes is definitely a metallic paint!

DUH. Sorry about that. You already told me. I had fixated on the green and didn't even see the metallic bit.
Carry on sir...

One of the things missing from this kit and from Marcos Cruz's Bullitt Mustang in Scale Auto Magazine are brakes. They are clearly missing from Marcos' Bullitt and I decided to replicate these. The rear drum brakes I made from a couple of flat washers and drilled out the centers to fit over the wheels hubs. These will be painted with Tamiya X-18 Semi-Gloss Black paint. Since I am replacing the wheels and tires with front wheels and tires from two Revell '32 Fords, I kept the disc brakes and glued them to the wheel hubs. More to come...
