Hi all! Started this yesterday and figured i'd better post some pics before i finish it. I'm doing the custom version with the pleated interior.The engine is done and wired up,the interior is gloss white as i want to replicate vinyl.Just need to figure out an accent color for the trim.The body and chassis were painted Tropical Turquoise and the body got a white top.Hope you like it. Thank you Joe! This time i used .022 solder for the plug wires and painted them.This stuff is a lot easier to work with.Surprisingly the fuel rails for the carbs came in the kit.Just put on the first coat of wet look clear,so things are moving right along.

I have 3 of these kits in the earlier issues, and they have nice detail right out of the box. Leon, if you would like some phone wire, I would gladly mail you some? I have tons of it from when we still had "Land Lines" here at our place!! Just PM me your address, and I will get some out to you. David S. |

David, i didn't mention the bonus tires! I've got enough tires for two more cars. One set of red stripe tires and a set of pad printed 60 series tires.

Hi fellas! Finally got the interior painted.Not quite the color i was after but i'm happy with it.It's a custom mix of lime green,dark blue and white.Can't tell you what the ratios are as i just added a drop of this and a drop of that till i was happy with it. icon_whistle Also got the wheels on and the body has its final clear coat.Hope to have this assembled and finished tomorrow.
