Evening fellas!The body and hood have their paint. smileys-painting-009432_zps0b513ffb Going to let this cure overnight and clear coat and decals tomorrow.If all goes well i may have this finished tomorrow night. Looks like i have some sanding and repaint on the left side of the hood.Taking care of that in a bit. Just a tip but if you'll wait about 3 days it'll wet sand out a lot better for you. Edit: I just saw Les' post. face%20in%20palm_zpsmit8xdak Sorry bout dat. I'll echo his post by saying that patience in painting yields a really good result. What grits are you using?

Joe,i'm out of sand paper! What grits do you suggest i get and use? start with around 4000 grit and work your way up through 6000 which will be good for the color coat. With the gloss coat you’ll start at the 4000 range and work your way up through the 12000 grit range in wet sanding. Then you’re off to the polishing phase.

Thank you Joe! No trouble at all Les. Just make sure you sand lightly and be careful on all high points and corners. You'll sand through the color coat if you're not careful in those areas.
