I was pretty bored at work last night so started thinking about cars. Then I had the idea for a little bit of fun, so lets get playing. Lets say your numbers come up on the lotto and you each have a million to spend on cars, trucks, bikes anything with an engine from any era. So lets see what you'd have in the garage. To get it going here's my list. 1. 1972 vw transporter bay window bus $25,000 2. 1979 french market oettinger vw golf mk1 $35,000 3, 1976 pontiac firebird est $20,000
4. 1992 vw golf mk3 16v $5,000 5. 2001 vw golf mk4 r32 $8,000 6, 1984 audi quattro swb Ur (the group B monster) $350,000 7. 1938 ford sedan convertible custom $100,000 8. 1978 ford escort mk2 4 door $8,000
9. 1970s ford transit mk2 4x4 high top van $15,000
10. early 60s chevy pick up $10,000 11. model t doctors coupe hot rod $25,000 12. t bucket 70s style $20,000 13. 1940 pkw kubelwagen $150,000 14. 1960s massey ferguson 35 tractor $2,500 15. 1960s scammel trunker tanker truck $25,000 16. ford pop/thames/anglia hot rod $25,000 17. willys pro street hot rod $80,000 18. the rest would be spent on slamming and customising

Ill have a think, and make up a list through the evening . emmigrating somewhere with better weather would save the need for a big shed and malta has a nice climate that not too hot or cold and no snow. the bonus is no rotty rust, just surface rust

The first thing i would do, is go straight to somebody like Dave Kindig, and get the most bitchin ride built. 1/ 66 VC Valiant, Viper enhanced , pro-charged, with all the best suspension and brakes possible with full custom leather interior, pumped guards ( fenders) and left as a RIGHT HAND DRIVE. No change from $400,000 i reckon. 2/ Slammed. custom 59 Cadillac $ 150,000 3/ The most serious 4X4 V8 Diesel upgrade to my XJ Jeep, with the biggest and best off road gear i could get. $100,000, and USE IT! 4/ Modify my 2007 Black 300C . by adding a red leather interior and a pro charger for my daily driver. $50,000 ( don't like the new shape). 5/ I would spend $50,000 on my 66 Valiant ute, with a V8 upgrade, (prabably a modern Hemi SRT) and suspension . 6/ The rest would be a huge shed with living quarters built into the end of it, with a modeling studio equipped with a spray booth and all the after market wheels and resin spares and kits to last me for ever. $100,000 for model stuff, The shed and land would be paid for from the sale of my current house. 7/ Live happily ever after.

For me ... an RX 3 , RX4 and a RX7R1. Parked next to them would be fully restored to factory original EH premier, HQ Stato, Mk2 Zephyr and I would get my current ride - 1992 Pajero - lifted and have fitted every option to make it the 4x4 beast I have always wanted. The rest I would invest in a vintage parts business with a beautiful young busty nymphet as my sexatery !
Spending a mil is not a problem I will have ....spending the 20 mil I am going to win tomorrow on lotto ...now therein lies a problem :-P

Means a lot though.. glad you like my style enough to want to replicate it. Most of my builds are done as to " How i would want them" , it's just not fair they don't do Aussie cars in plastic..

Interesting idea guys....here's mine ! 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Brougham ( I'm trying to buy a real one now actually ! ) Full flake pattern paint, with murals, old skool deep button fur n` mirror interior, hydraulics, wires and chrome ! 1959 Impala convertible lowrider with continental kit, cruiser skirts, standard interior, chromed under carriage ! Nissan 200SX drift car , street legal , just for fun ! Audi R8 V10 for a daily driver, I'd also love to do a copy of the Audi from the film ' i robot ' Brand new cars for my 2 kids, my sons just passed his test and my daughter is continuing lessons now she finished University. I'm guessing a few thousand for insurance for those too ! ! All original 1958 Plymouth Fury...think Christine ! ! Lamborghini , not sure which one but bright orange or lime green ! Something crazy, along the lines of my 67 Camero build. A smoothed out, very hi-tech, air bagged car, big wheels and engine, designed and built as a long term project to keep myself out of trouble .... Lastly a zipper fiberglass 1933 ford , fenderless, hi-tech suspension, leather interior, corvette powered ! Oh, and a TANK , so I can go and destroy all the F@#£%&G Citroen 2CVs left in the world.... Not too much to ask for eh ?

OK, So I THINK I have Narrowed it down to a few..in no particular order: -2017 Dodge Challenger Demon (because we all need a 9 second street car) -2000 F350 Dually, to use as a daily. -1998 Fairlane By Tickford -1964 Fairlane Thunderbolt -1999 Crown Vic Police Interceptor (with Airbag suspension) -Full on Lowrider of some sort (cannot decide on base car) -Mad Max Interceptor replica (the Back car) -Mad Max Interceptor replica (the Yellow car)
That'd be close to my Million done I reckon.

Was a cool car until his brother borrowed it and stuffed it in a ditch but i guess getting my uncles mk3 savage cortina as a free replacement made up for it.

Righto, so I've been thinking - KPGC10 skyline - RS2000 Escort - HZ Sandman - HK Monaro - 79 series dual cab with lockers, 35's, 4" lift and all the goodies as my daily and getaway rig - XM Falcon wagon as a weekend cruiser And I would have to have a cafe racer/street tracker of some sort.

K, just to have something to drive around and look good in I'd go with a Corvette ZR-1. 120k '55 Chevy 'cause they are BA, 70K Porsche 911 (just because) 80K Factory Five Daytona kit (to keep me busy) 120k Truck (full size, not sure which) 75K The rest would go to a barn to store them, and work on my Daytona (because I'd never finish it), and hotels for the car shows. icon_drum_zps4hmvpn40

I had to look up the seawitch sandman and I have to say nice choice It's one of my earliest memories of 'cool' cars so it's sentimental as much as anything else. Never had the ready cash to buy the diecast but Mrs Deano got the 1:43 scale one for me. There is some awesome stuff listed here, makes my list look kinda tame.
