For an older kit there still looks like there is plenty of detail. Will be watching this one. Popcorn%20and%20drink%20emoticon_zpsnbkzs8ys

So far so good and you are right about older kits being a little 'vague'.

Personally, I want to know more about Mustang's 3 day weekends - this is a lark I could get right into!!!! Going to have to share the secret mate . Honestly, I was working at a local Chevrolet dealership as an automotive technician working 6 days a week and this job literally fell right into my lap. It was a "Would you like to make more money per hour and only work 4 days a week?" gig. It was originally the guy next to me that had the job offer and he didn't want it because he was making too much money at the dealership. I told him to reconsider and that a 4 day a week job with a chance for promotion opportunity and retirement was "the greater good" but he was too much in love with todays money to see the gold on the horizon. After asking his permission I slid right into it and haven't looked back since and that'll be almost 5 years ago now.

Awesome result for you there! It's funny how some people can't see beyond the here and now, maybe it's the whole bird in the hand thing?? What dash board is in this? I've never had 1 of these kits?

Hi guys! Got the frame and engine painted and started adding on the chrome pieces. The fuel tanks look a little crappy from gluing them together.Decided i'm going to paint them yellow.I defo need to get one of those chrome pens to touch up where i scraped the plating and the sprue attachment points.Hope you like how it's looking so far. Still have a few parts that need painting DSCN4712 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr DSCN4713 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr DSCN4714 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr DSCN4715 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr Deano this is the dashboard in the kit. This is coming along very nicely indeed. Tanks can be tricky, don't worry you are not alone there. I wasn't sure about the dash so thanks for the pic. I bought a box of resins bits from a deceased estate and it had about 5 of these dashes in RHD form so now I know they'll go into this.

Progress is moving RIGHT along on this one Leon!!!! Wow man!!
2 questions:
1.) What is that box located right behind the passengers front wheel/ tire area?
2.) What color did you go with on the engine block?
As far as the chrome pen, they are a must have for auto modelers. Aircraft modelers can benefit from them as well when painting landing gear oleo's. Something you might want to give a try is the Molotow Chrome refill that comes in a 30ml bottle. It shoots through an airbrush like a dream. I'll get the details posted up here on how to use it and what to clear it with.

Joe,thank you! As for your questions 1) That is the battery box.Still need to paint the inside and put the battery in. 2) I painted the engine block Iraqi sand. The instruction call for tan or beige neither of which i have. Looking forward to seeing the details on the Molotow Chrome refill.

Evening guys! Took a break from the KW as i need to get some paints for it. Decided to build the tanker and have it ready for paint to.So far this thing has fought me all the way with warped parts and parts that don't line up the way they should. Had to use CA glue and a lot of rubber bands and clothes pins to hold parts together. There was a lot of filling and sanding on the tanker body. The rear wheel assembly is dry fit and will get painted separately. Hope you like the progress. DSCN4717 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr DSCN4718 by Leon Dorak, on Flickr Thank for looking in!
