Straight into it with another build. Geez guys, this is a very nice kit. I originally bought it just for parts, but will build it after seeing how nice it is. Just a lot of parts prep, de-seaming, filing and sanding so far. Had great weather yesterday, so managed to squirt a few colours on various bits. The Silver on the dash and other parts is a base coat, I'm going outside of my comfort zone with the paint on this one. Thanks for looking.

Nice choice! I've got a '60 that I'm pondering the the gasser treatment.

Lil' progress on this one. Swapped the kit wheels out for the '41 Willys gasser slot mags(because I have too many in the stash). Started a bit of assembly, goes together really well this kit. Still not sure on paint, but my first idea failed- Bigtime! Also mocked it up, Gee Whiz, this sucker sits REAL high. (that is the OOTB stance emotion-11)

Fantastic call on that wheel swap out and that motor is starting off very well. Which kit did you get those wheels from anyhow?

Fantastic call on that wheel swap out and that motor is starting off very well. Which kit did you get those wheels from anyhow? These wheels are from the Revell '41 Willys Gasser, the later issue one, with the 1 piece body.

Moving along with this one. Interior is done. Door trim highlights done with Molotow pen and BMF. Put in the Gas pedal from the '41 Willys kit. Flocking on the floor. Now I play the waiting game, as I need some more Pro Tech fittings for my fuel lines, so that'll put this on hold.

Well, Back at it after a week away from the bench (seemed like months!!) Not a big update, just plumbed the carbs. Happy with the result, could have been better, but maybe on the next one..Next up is to get some paint on the body, but need some warmer weather here in South Aus!

Well the sun was out for just long enough over the weekend for me to squirt some colour. Paint was gonna be wild, but I chickened out! Went with a colour close to the box art, as I really liked the look of it. Sorry for the average photos, it looks quite a bit pinker than it actually is. Colour is Tamiya Mica Red. Will let it gass out for a few days before I wet sand and clear it. Thanks for looking.

The model looks great but it's bloody AWESOME in that diorama, can nearly taste the beer and sausages as work on it progresses!
