'65 Buick Riviera street custom

   I'm building this one on another forum for a contest.
Sharing it here was something that I thought would be
kind of cool!?!
   The contest build time lasts for a whole year, which
is a needed time frame for me!!







    This kit comes with a few custom options for the body.  I picked one that
I think can look cool with a bit of tweaking!






    The round tail light holes on a body with so many
sharp lines and edges just doesn't work.
    My thoughts were to go with a tail light from a kit
that have a more rectangular shape to them.  But I
could not find anything here that I liked, so making
my own is what I decided!










   But it still needed a little extra style to make it look
like a decent custom light!!








     This next photo does not really do it justice, the finished
unit will be a bit different. The bar across the middle will be
chromed with foil, and the red clear plastic will be sunk in
a bit more.  It looks too chunky like it is, but it will look
better when it's done!!





   I have a few other things to post about this one, but I ran out
of time right now. I have to take my wife to work!  Gotta go!!
