Hey guys, I've been away for a while (Just haven't had the time to check in all of these great sites) but now I thought I should post something in here too. This Oldsmobile was finished a couple of years ago. It's the Jo-Han kit but I had to do some modifications for it. The stock interior was just junk, so there was no way I'd use that on my build. So new door panels were scratchbuilt, front seats and the center console came from my parts box and backseat is from Revell '69 Nova with slight modifications. I also had to relocate the steering column as it was originally too far center, so now it's closer to the driver's side door panel where it should be. I filled the metal axle hole from the engine, added a carburetor (The kit didn't have one), modified the air cleaner a bit and added some extra detailing. Engine bay had some minor modifications, as well as the firewall, interior floor and radiator wall. Also the trunk area was scratchbuilt on top of the kit's chassis pan. The body is kept pretty much stock, but I painted it with Tamiya sprays, clear coated and polished it. BMF was used for the chrome trim and windows were made from clear plastic as the kit windows didn't fit. Overall it was a fun build even though it required some modifying to make it a bit better.

Thanks for the kind comments! I appreciate them!
This was my first try at Tamiya sprays. Even though the paint comes with a high pressure from the can and even though the paint cans are pretty expensive compared to regular automotive spray paints, I liked them and have used them in a couple of builds after this one.
