To tell the truth I ain't a fan of purple, this one was supposed to be HOK Kosmos Red. I was afraid I didn't have enough paint , so I decided to experiment on this kit. Have a long ways to go, hopefully I don't screw up somewhere along the line. Thanks and I will post updates as I go.

Here's the rest of the plan on this one. Plum Purple dash, floorboards and seat inserts ( maybe paint door inserts Plum Crazy ). The rest will be white interior. I will be adding the decals on Christmas Day then foil it a by the weekend so I can spray 4 coats of Gloss enamel clear next weekend. Hope I don't screw it up! The color is starting to grow on me.

Man the paint looks great with the white interior You ain't wrong there Stitch, it looks great Tony. If it helps, slice your foil fairly thin, so you only have to line it up when laying it down, the less trimming, the less there is to go wrong.

That is looking AWESOME Tony, your putting in some great detailing with the paint too. with the shock mounts, put a tiny pin like piece of plastic through the eye of the shock and just lean it where it should sort of go, and glue it, NOBODY will know the difference mate..

Dale Thanks for the kind words! Problem is, I will know! lol The kit shocks have a small pin that is supposed to lay in the leaf spring mounting point. Which are now on the rear outside versus the rear inside. It will have to do since this was a test bed for a newly learned technique.

Ain't nobody that can resist a Plum Crazy Mopar. Yes, ya gotta love that color!! I didn't know this was the 1/24th scale kit with the GOOD looking hood!! I have one of those releases, and I wish I had at least one more to build. The interior work is really cool on this, great work! David S.

Update:
Thought that this last weekend I could finish it. Wrong answer! Went to glue the rear roll pan on and while testing it I found that the rear chassis is sticking out too much which does not let the roll pan sit right. While working with it I knocked out one of the tail lights and it ended up in between the body and chassis. I ended up having to break the glue loose where the chassis and body meets on the sides. Trying to figure out my next move on it, need to get this one done!

BUGGER !!! I've had this problem before mate, i shaved off the rear piece of the chassis, why it didn't fit ?? i don't know.... but it did once i had finished with it Keep at it Tony, it will be worth the effort mate.
