Thanks fellas. I'm about done with my 69 Camaro so I'll be turning my attention to this full time within a foreseeable future. I've slowed waaaay down in the last few weeks due to being so dang busy with life. My son's birthday party, going out of town to our nephew's graduation and then we're acquiring a new dog. There's a whole lot going into that last gig because we're preparing the house and have to assimilate the new dog in with our existing dog so it'll be tricky but doable. Then there's a big trip that were planning for the 4th of July holiday. Not quite sure about all the details there but we'll see how that all goes. Man where does all the time GO???!!!

While I was waiting on some paint to dry on the Camaro I switched back over to this bad boy. I got the black top cut, painted and applied to the top of the tool box. I also got my laptop painted and applied BMF in the areas where the "intel inside" and "Dell" stickers were below the keyboard. I took a picture of a screensaver on my "real" laptop that has my favorite photo of my wife and son at the beach here in Corpus , sized it down to 2% and printed it on photo paper then cut it out and adhered it to the laptop monitor then glued that to the top of the tool box. I also cut out, folded and glued the paper bag for the burgers and fries together and glued that to the top of the box. Burgers, fries and some tools coming soon........
Yesterday's gone and Tomorrow aint here yet. Today IS the best day we'll ever have.
stitchdup: The paint booth is fired up and the masking tape is out, its time to get the blue on the porsche so I can hopefully get it decaled tonight

aussiemodler: Im hearing ya mate. I've had this plane build on my bench for my dad for over 12 months and I've done more in the last 3 days then in those 12 months. I think motivation helps also.

stitchdup: I think most of my motivation has been boredom at work, knocking out a couple of curbsides fills in some time cos there really is no work for me to do other than be on the boat all night. If anything happens I phone someone to come and sort it cos I'm not

stitchdup: qualified to do any of it, and most of it needs 2 or more people anyway. All I know how to do is pull the line tight on the winch and even that I can only do in emergencies

aussiemodler: I HATE painting in these Queensland summers, its 1830 32c (90F) and 75% humidity, everything dries to quick.

stitchdup: I dont think i've ever been in that much heat, 24 is hot here, lol

DeeCee: When it's hot, i slap it on very wet, the heat acts as an oven, usually end up with a DEEP gloss.
