Well guys I'm going to toss my hat in the ring with this one and hope it all turns out. Regardless of whether I make the due date or not, I'll finish this one.
I started off with this Antique Garage Set and really don't know what I was expecting but the wood floor looks too new and the side walls were the same way. All laminated card stock. I know better. Anyways , here's the garage kit:
and then the shop tools like Dee Cee has:
I'm going to revamp the flooring with some fancy tile floor:
and go with some real walls instead of the paper wood grain walls. We'll see where the imagination goes from there. As for a ride..................I'll have to think about that one.

A little cheating/ not. I recently acquired this 1/24 scale Snap-On toolbox with all the molded in tools that I don't care for much. My aim is to cut the hutch off of the top of the box thereby making it the traditional "taco wagon" tool box. I'll place a laptop on the top of the box with some miscellaneous items / tools on there as well.
Yesterday's gone and Tomorrow aint here yet. Today IS the best day we'll ever have.
I cut the hutch off the top of the box and did all the "body work" necessary to make it look like a taco wagon style tool box. I sanded the top smooth so you can't tell it ever had a hutch on it. I didn't like those molded in tools and with all the business of the "fake" detail it would've distracted from the cool detail I'll be putting on top of the box.
stitchdup: The paint booth is fired up and the masking tape is out, its time to get the blue on the porsche so I can hopefully get it decaled tonight

aussiemodler: Im hearing ya mate. I've had this plane build on my bench for my dad for over 12 months and I've done more in the last 3 days then in those 12 months. I think motivation helps also.

stitchdup: I think most of my motivation has been boredom at work, knocking out a couple of curbsides fills in some time cos there really is no work for me to do other than be on the boat all night. If anything happens I phone someone to come and sort it cos I'm not

stitchdup: qualified to do any of it, and most of it needs 2 or more people anyway. All I know how to do is pull the line tight on the winch and even that I can only do in emergencies

aussiemodler: I HATE painting in these Queensland summers, its 1830 32c (90F) and 75% humidity, everything dries to quick.

stitchdup: I dont think i've ever been in that much heat, 24 is hot here, lol

DeeCee: When it's hot, i slap it on very wet, the heat acts as an oven, usually end up with a DEEP gloss.
