Thanks Larry and Mike for your comments. have finished molding in the rear wing to the trunk lid last night and have given it a quick primer coat this morning to see how everything looks. Think all I will have to do is give it a quick sand down , check the body for any imperfections and then it will be off to the paint shop hopefully by the end of the week, weather permitting. This is the type of look I am aiming for

Looks like the spoiler has blended nicely mate, and i do like the headlight chrome blended and painted on the 1:1 too.
Very drool worthy..
Thanks Dale the old super glue does the trick, dries quick, easy to sand and the main bonus is it doesn't shrink as I have used other putties in the past, only for them to ruin a good paint job due shrinkage
Thanks Stitch and poet for the comments. Wanted to get more done this weekend but due to the weather was stuck out in the garden but was able to get a little bit in. Have extended the chassis rails to fit the superbee chassis and got some satin black on it, now just needs some fine detailing. Also was able to finish filling in the floor pan and trans tunnel and hopefully will get it in paint tomorrow. Tonight with luck will start on the motor as all the chrome has gone trough the oven cleaner to remove it. Cheers and thanks for looking

Thanks Dale , Joe and Jason for the comments. Been a little bit slow the past week being busy with work and life, had sprayed the hood in magma red duplicolor earlier in the week but the paint came out awful so it went in the oven cleaner but got a few light coats on the hood today and hopefully will be getting a lot more done this weekend. Had to change the color choice as the local hobby shop was out of the go green/ sublime I originally intended so it was in the paint bin to see what I had and this color kept staring at me so I went with it. Paint is model master panther pink and was quite surprised how well it went down as I have used the boyds pearl yellow before and took forever to dry and was really transparent. Will have to see how duplicolor clear goes with it hopefully I dont get any reactions with it. Will be using the white c stripes with it and will have to use another bit of white decal to fill in the turn signal as they have now been removed. Cheers and thanks for looking Steve

NEVER ignore the paint mate, colors have a way of sending sublime... i mean subliminal messages to us, they have a way of getting your attention for that right color on the right car, and in this case, they were CORRECT , that color is PERFECT !!!!
Cheers Dale wanted that original look but also wanted that attention seeking look which I think the panther pink has. Have ordered the sublime green which will be going on another pro street superbee I have tucked away.
Got a bit more done on the body this weekend and with a bit of luck will be in paint in the next day or two.Finished off the rear wing to body with a bit more super glue and a bit of sanding and now flows smooth. Primered the body and the lower trim on both front and rear screens had no definition at all so sanded down what was there and added some half round evergreen and now looks heaps better. Also filled in the vents and given everything another light primer coat and will give everything a light sand down before paint. As for the hood got a couple of clear coats on with the duplicolor with no adverse effects with the model master panel which is a relief, will post picks of the hood tomorrow.Cheers and thanks for looking Steve
